Collaborate
- We provide training programs and workshops, virtual and in-person, to educate community members, educators, and caregivers about mental health awareness, early intervention, and supportive practices. Our programs cover topics such as recognizing signs of distress, offering peer support, and accessing professional help. Training can be requested in the following areas: trauma-informed care, suicide prevention and intervention, building social and emotional skills/coping skills, de-escalation and crisis support, mental health awareness, and wellness and stress management.
- Our website is a location where community members can access resources and find information about upcoming events. We have a curated library of articles, videos, podcasts, and recommended reading materials related to mental health and social-emotional learning for families and educators.
- We provide consultation and training to foster collaboration and partnerships between mental health professionals, educators, community organizations, and other stakeholders to leverage collective expertise, resources, and support networks. Our goal is to promote integrative systems of care building multi-tiered systems of mental health support. Provide opportunities for community members to actively participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs and initiatives, ensuring that they reflect the unique needs and priorities of the community.
Create
- We offer Summer Camp with a Purpose. Coming Soon, we will offer a summer camp program that integrates elements of social-emotional learning, mental health awareness, and skill-building activities. We will offer a variety of workshops and activities tailored to different age groups, focusing on topics such as emotional regulation, communication skills, conflict resolution, and self-esteem building. We will also incorporate outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and creative arts projects to foster personal growth and resilience. We will provide opportunities for peer support, mentorship, and positive social interaction in a supportive environment. Our staff and volunteers will be trained to support all things behavior and mental health including restorative practices, trauma, mental health awareness, de-escalation, conflict resolution, leadership, social-emotional skills, and suicide prevention.
- We offer Early Career Training and Support, offering volunteer opportunities and mentorship programs for individuals interested in pursuing careers in education, counseling, or mental health that support our summer camp. We have a goal to facilitate opportunities for hands-on experience and shadowing opportunities in educational and mental health settings. We provide training workshops, seminars, and networking events to help early career professionals develop their skills, gain experience, and connect with industry professionals.

- We offer a multi-functional event center that hosts celebrations, community meetings, and workshops.
- Our Event Hall is a spacious hall with a stage, lighting, and sound system capable of hosting various events like weddings and birthdays.
- The hall offers flexible layouts to accommodate different seating arrangements. We offer multiple meeting rooms of varying sizes equipped with AV facilities for community groups, clubs, and organizations to hold meetings, workshops, and seminars.
- Our facility is perfect for collaboration with local mental health organizations, schools, and community groups to host joint events and initiatives focused on mental health and well-being.

About Our Founder
I am Dr. Lakeisha Kearney, with over 20 years in mental health, focusing on education and community well-being. My goal is to demystify mental health through teaching and training, fostering spaces that nurture collaboration, creativity, and community engagement.
In my recent role, I have supported state grants for school districts and charter schools, including initiatives for school safety, rural school mental health, and suicide prevention. I have led efforts to promote positive mental health and wellness through systemic approaches like Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, aiming to create equitable and sustainable infrastructures for mental health in schools.
I am a School Psychologist with extensive experience in special education and community mental health in Texas and Maryland. I have provided psychological evaluations, interventions, and counseling to support students' social-emotional learning and crisis intervention. My work includes advocating for positive mental health outcomes, offering professional development, and connecting families with resources.
In Maryland, I served as a therapist and service coordinator in a community mental health clinic, supporting adults with chronic conditions in housing, daily living, medication management, and job support.
I hold a Doctorate in School Psychology and a Master's in Educational Psychology from Howard University; and an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. I specialize in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support frameworks, training educators in social-emotional learning, positive behavior interventions, trauma-informed care, and other areas to enhance student and staff well-being.
I am a mother, wife, and active community member, passionate about organization, connection, and creativity, with a history of involvement in school and extracurricular activities.
